disturbance - Eagle perched about bluff entire hour (8:00 - 9:00) (flee bluff or beach) There was an Eagle perched on the a limb overhanging the bluff that effected the PGs on the south end of our survey area, ( Mic and Ann's area) The PG stayed way out in the water, only occasionally flying in close to the shoreline and flying directly out again. The PGs at the north end of our survey area did not seem to be effected by the Eagle's presence.. note some VBs in Carol's area.
disturbance - Two Eagles overshadowing burrows (7:58 - 8:17) (fly off water) One Eagle caught a crab and proceeded to eat it on the shoreline. Second Eagle stayed perched up on the bluff
disturbance - More eagle activitiy (8:23 - 8:33) (fly off water) Both eagles perched in middle of colony bluff, close together watching water and birds. Twice leaving bluff to harass a hunting Osprey
disturbance - Still more eagle activity (8:47 - 8:50) (fly off water) Both eagles perched on snags above bluff. They were both there when our survey time concluded.
disturbance - eagle soaring close to burrows (8:25 - 8:30) (fly off water) Mature eagle cruising very close to burrows on bluff
disturbance - Again eagle cruising near burrows (8:41 - 8:45) (fly off water) Again and eagle is cruising very close to burrows on bluff.. this time the eagle was still cruising area when our survey time ended at 8:45am
disturbance - eagles perched north end of colony (7:45 - 8:45) (fly off water) An eagle was perched for the entire hour of our survey at the north end of the colony, no PGs activity at this end of the colony.
disturbance - Another eagle perched at south end of colony (7:45 - 8:32) (fly off water) A second eagle was perched at the south end of the colony near the burrows Mic observes.

disturbance - eagle perched on snag (7:50 - 8:17) (fly off water) PGs out further in water, some carrying prey and waiting until the eagle left the snag at 8:17
disturbance - eagle perched on snag most of survey time (7:50 - 8:43) (fly off water) Many PGs, out in water, staying out, holding prey and not coming to burrows.
disturbance - Juvie Eagle cruising bluff (8:40 - 8:42) (fly off water) Juvie eagle cruising by bluff very close to burrows. PGs fly out to deeper water
disturbance - No disturbances today ( - ) () No eagles hanging around at our site today. Two Osprey hunting late in the hour.
