disturbance - 8:10h:mm unknown (Sm) Only noted at South end of colony

disturbance - 8:28 dog (End) The Walker and two dogs are the same ones who walk through the three northern survey sites virtually every survey date. The birds were not disturbed at any of the sites until the return past the two northernmost sites where he leapt into the water after birds sitting on rocks near shore. Then the birds flew about 20 feet out in the water and remained there for the two minutes before the end of the survey.

disturbance - h:8:19mm eagle (Sm) Eagle flew over the beach at the 3 northern observation sites. Birds were already off bluff and in the water from the start but they flew to somewhat deeper water beginning to return within 2-3 minutes, sending out teams of birds to scout the bluff. I suspect that the eagle has been perched somewhere in the middle of the colony prior to the flyover, because the birds had been in the water and fairly cautious in their execution of fish deliveries prior to the flyover. After the flyover and the five minutes of scouting there was a flurry of activity of birds perching on the bluff around burrows whereas there had been no bluff-sitting earlier during the survey.
