disturbance - 7:00 other (Lg) A great horned owl sat on the bluff between burrows 2S & 3S from before 7:00 to 7:28 when it was chased off by a murder of crows. The owl found refuge in some brush on the bank about 200' north, but the crows continued to harass it until after 8:00.

disturbance - 7:01 other (End) At Malmo Bluff near Burrows 1 & 2, a peregrin falcon sat on the bluff during the entire survey, short of an unsuccessful fishing trip onto the water at 7:23 after which it returned to the bluff.
disturbance - 7:04 eagle (N) There were quite a few eagles (five at the most at one time) on the beach, inland along the bluff, and flying overhead during the hour, but since the Guillemots were far offshore due to the low tide, the eagle activity seemed to have no influence.

disturbance - 7:04 other (N) Two river otters swam along the shoreline from 7:04 to 7:15.
